​Located behind automated gates, this comfortable and spacious 3-bedroom/3-bathroom detached villa is on a large secure plot with no immediate neighbours so guaranteeing privacy and tranquillity and offering fantastic views of the Pyrenees.

​The lounge/dining room have French doors leading to the south facing veranda with outside seating for al-fresco eating; vast paved sunbathing space, with relaxing sun loungers around a large pool and a pergola with charcoal BBQ, it is the perfect escape in rural France.  

 

kitchen/lounge

The kitchen is modern and equipped with a large oven, an induction hob, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster furthermore, the kitchen has a breakfast counter overlooking the veranda and pool.  Adjoining the kitchen is a laundry room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board and plenty of storage.  From the corridor, you will have access to the living room with its dining area welcoming 6 people and its wood stove.  The living room is furnished with sofas and a flat screen TV with French and British channels.  This open-plan area offers direct access to the veranda leading to the garden and the swimming pool.  There is internet/Wi-Fi throughout the house.

bedrooms

The villa features 3 bedrooms. On the first floor, you will find the master suite which features a super king size bed and doors leading to a balcony with uninterrupted views of the Pyrenees, a private shower room and a dressing room offering therefore plenty of storage. The two twin bedrooms are on the ground floor, one of which is fully ensuite and the second is adjacent to the main bathroom.  Please note that all bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning and windows with wooden shutters & mosquito nets.

All bathrooms and ensuite have been remodelled. The main bathroom features walk in shower, full size bath, WC and basin. The ground floor ensuite also features a walk in shower, WC and basin. The master bedroom ensuite offers a quadrant shower, basin and WC.

The house has centralised and quiet air conditioning.

garden

South facing veranda with dining table and chairs, overlooking the swimming pool and mountains beyond.  The garden is large, with no adjacent neighbours ensuring total privacy, and is totally enclosed by hedging with remotely operated front gate.

pool
The heated pool is 8m x 4m and has a ladder down and a security cover which is compliant with French law.  It is maintained on a weekly basis between late May and end of September.  Opening and heating outside of this period will incur additional charge.

accessibility

The house is wheelchair friendly with the exception of one small step onto the veranda and the threshold to access the house.  Both ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms are fully wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch to discuss your needs.

​pet policy

'La Manberjealine' has a enclosed garden and we welcome guests who wish to bring their pet; we can accept up to 2 medium sized well behaved dog however, we cannot guarantee your dog won't be able to escape the ground's perimeter.  Furthermore, it is absolutely forbidden for dogs to be allowed in the pool at any time.  Please ask for a copy of our Pet Contract before you book.

additional facilities

We also provide a travel cot and high chair for our very young guests.  Games - cards, backgammon, chess, board games - can be found in the cabinet of the living room.  Our winter guests will enjoy central heating, electric towel rails in the bathrooms and a wood burning stove in the living room. You will also find a hairdryer in the master suite.  A cool box as well as ice packs can be found in the utility room, along with a sun umbrella for those beach days!  You will find four bicycles and helmets in the garage.
